This article shows how to order an unmanaged VPS from techseri. Unlike managed VPS packages, unmanaged VPS packages enable you to fully customize the server environment.

Ordering an unmanaged VPS

To order an unmanaged VPS from techseri, follow these steps:

  1. In your web browser, go to https://www.techseri.com/.
  2. On the top banner, click Hosting, and then click VPS Hosting.
  3. Click UNMANAGED VPS HOSTING, and then select the package that you want.
  4. Select a domain option:
    • To use an existing domain name that you already own, click Use my own domain.
    • To register a new domain name with techseri, click Register a new domain.
    • To transfer your domain from another registrar, click Transfer your domain to techseri and manage it all in one place.
  5. The Configure page appears. In the Billing Cycle list box, select the billing cycle that you want.
  6. Under Upgrade Your Hosting, select if you want to add an SSL certificate or Turbo.
  7. Under Customize Your Hosting, select the features that you want for your VPS:

    • In the Server Location list box, select the server location for your VPS.
    • In the Operating System list box, select the operating system that you want to install on the VPS.
    • In the Control Panel list box, select the control panel that you want to install on the VPS (cPanel or Webuzo), or no control panel.
    • In the Number of IPs list box, select the number of additional IPs for the VPS.
  8. Click Continue. The Review & Checkout page appears.
  9. Click Checkout. The Checkout page appears. If you have an techseri account and are logged in, the personal and billing information appears automatically. Otherwise, complete the fields.
  10. Under Payment Details, select the payment method that you want to use.
  11. Select the I have read and agree to the Terms of Service check box.
  12. Click Complete Order. After the order is processed, you receive an e-mail message from techseri that contains further instructions about how to set up and access your new VPS. In the meantime, you may want to browse the VPS Quick Start Guide.
